Catalog description

The Cyber Ops course provides students with content to develop practical, relevant, and job-ready knowledge and skills required of cybersecurity analysts employed in a Security Operations Center (SOC). It teaches core security skills needed for monitoring, detecting, investigating, analyzing and responding to security events, thus protecting systems and organizations from cybersecurity risks, threats and vulnerabilities. This course is a hands-on, career-oriented course with an emphasis on practical experience, students will learn how to detect and respond to security threats using the latest technology. This course aligns to the CCNA CyberOps certification which demonstrates that the candidate has the skills and knowledge needed to begin a career in cybersecurity operations, addressing cybersecurity threats that enterprises are faced with on a daily basis.
