Catalog description

This course is an introduction to reading and performing keyboard music along with the fundamentals of music theory. Particular focus is on learning and performing musical scales, chords, and short piano pieces. Some goals of this course are to stimulate interest in performing music, to provide information about music fundamentals, and ultimately to enhance each student’s own appreciation for music.
