This course starts with an overview of the Arduino platform, and stresses programming topics that are relevant to microcontroller platforms. Concepts include: the core programming structures, interaction between the Arduino and a breadboard, input and output to display and memory, connecting input and output devices to the Arduino (i.e. actuators and sensors), and a discussion about shields. Students will have the opportunity to complete a simple project using both actuators and sensors.
