This class emphasizes concepts and applications, rather than mathematical structures. This class focuses on applications of the following topics: matrices, matrix algebra, linear programming, sets and counting techniques, probability, and the mathematics of finance. A graphing calculator (TI-83 or 84) and/or comparable technology (Excel, Desmos, WolframAlpha, etc.) is required for this course.
