MATH 087Elementary Algebra

This course is optional, and is designed for students who need to develop their math skills prior to beginning their required math sequence by taking either MATH 95 or MATH 97. Topics include: integers, fractions, decimals, ratios and proportions, percent, order of operations, solving linear equations, graphing lines, and exponents. The appropriate use of technology, such as a scientific calculator, is strongly encouraged. Instruction will be based on a TI-30XIIS.
