Music and Poetry introduces students to the world of traditional poems, Spoken Word and Slam poetry and music to see how they all interconnect. Students will explore this rich history through reading, listening, discussing, interpreting and responding to a variety of works through many past cultures and time periods to see how music and poetry function today as literary art forms.
