Cultural Tour: Humanities Field Experience

Catalog description

This course is a part of a student’s study abroad experience, where they will gain an introduction to France’s history, geography and governmental structure. Students will also be introduced to major French art forms, including music, art, painting, literature and philosophy. These arts will be considered by examining the constituent elements and formal qualities that are characteristic of the art form as well as by studying their relationship to one another and to the society from which they developed.
