The course includes an overview of the physical, psychological, and sociological aspects of health, illness and aging across different cultures. Topics included are the influence of one's culture, ethnicity, and spiritual beliefs upon one's life, including health care decisions. Health care adaptations based on the unique individual or group needs are presented.
