Introduction to Leisure and Recreation

Catalog description

This class will survey the nature of leisure and recreation by reviewing the influence of history, culture, economics, religion, technology, and environment on play, leisure, and wellbeing. Applicable careers in tourism, military, health industry, public, and private sectors will be explored. This course may include field trips and/or outdoor activities.
