Catalog description

This course is designed to teach students how to defend themselves from physical attacks using blocks, kicks and strikes; how to evade blows; and how to escape from various holds and mounts. Other foci examined include the rights, responsibilities, and legalities stemming from attacks. Students are required to dress for participation for every class session.
