Fundamentals of Medical Terminology

Catalog description

This course emphasizes the pertinent skills of medical terminology, such as defining and building medical terms through an analysis of word parts, pronunciation of medical terms, describing the body structure, and defining/matching common abbreviations to body systems. This course cannot be used for credit in programs requiring HLTH 110. Students cannot receive credit for completion of both HLTH 109 and HLTH 110.
