Introduction to Geology

Catalog description

Study of the origin and types of earth materials and the processes at work in our physical environment. Topics include earthquakes, erosion, mountain building, minerals, rocks, volcanoes, and glaciers. A two-hour lab each week will emphasize lecture material. Field trip required.
