Catalog description

This course covers the fundamental principles, methods, and concepts of computing with an emphasis on applications in the physical sciences and engineering. Basic problem solving and computing techniques will be taught using structured programming techniques. Fundamental algorithms, data structures, and ANSI C standard mathematical functions will be covered using engineering and scientific problems. Note: This course does not count for credit in a computer science program.
