Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to the COBOL Programming language to solve simple business application problems. Lectures and programming lab projects emphasize program structure, language syntax, sequential file processing, table handling, sorting procedures, subprograms, copy libraries, databases, and report logic with control breaks. Structured design, programming, and documentation techniques will be emphasized.
