Catalog description

This course provides an overview of the theory and principles of human growth and development from conception through adolescence. Content includes exploration and analysis of typical and atypical patterns of development for young children, and identification of supportive strategies designed to enhance each child’s development and learning. A minimum of two observations are required. CHLD 121 and 122 combined are equivalent to, and should transfer as, CHLD 102. Credit for CHLD 122 will not be awarded for students who have previously taken CHLD 102
