This course provides an overview of the historical and present-day representations of the fields of early childhood general education, early childhood special education, and early intervention. Information regarding organizational structures and public policy are shared via lecture and comparative observations. The course includes a strong focus on professional ethics, knowledge, skills, and dispositions.
