Throughout this course students will be introduced to the role of management at different levels of the organization in both public and private sector institutions, preparing them to become more effective contributors to organizations they join. Within the framework of professionalism, ethical decision making, technology, and responsibility, students will consider the global, economic, social and political environments impacting managers and organizations. This course presents the essential management skills involved in planning, organizing, leading, and controlling in a dynamic environment, providing a framework for understanding issues involved in both managing and being managed.
