Catalog description

This course is the second in a two semester sequence dealing with the structure and function of the human body that includes excretion and fluid balance, human development, metabolism and nutrition. Information from all levels of biological organization is presented for the cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. This course explores both the normal and pathologic conditions. The laboratory exercises use human models and preserved animal specimens. (BIOL 182 completes the sequence begun in BIOL 181).
