VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance)

Catalog description

This course provides students with the opportunity to learn the skills of tax preparation in a real world setting by applying their knowledge about existing tax law. Students prepare tax returns using Internal Revenue Service professional tax preparation software. Upon successful completion of this course, students are eligible to become IRS-certified volunteers.
