Advanced Darkroom & Digital Photography

Catalog description

This advanced photography course explores the aesthetics and techniques of darkroom and digital photography. The course focuses on developing advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, scanning, the exploration of image manipulation, special effects and archival processing. Students continue to develop personal photographic expression and visual communication skills. Students provide their own DSLR digital camera equipped with manual capabilities to change aperture, shutter speeds, and RAW file format. Health and safety issues will be addressed as an integral part of this course. This course meets for 6 clock hours per week.
