Life Drawing

Catalog description

This course continues development of skills learned in ART 104: Drawing I with an emphasis on drawing the live human form using a variety of media. Through direct observation, students develop a sense of the figure’s proportion, structure, gesture, movement, and foreshortening in space. Students draw the full figure as well as facial features and anatomical details. Health and safety in the art studio topics are integral to this course. This course meets 6 hours for 3 hours credit.
