Catalog description

This course will give students a full overview of visual data, from collection methodologies to interpretation strategies. Students will gain a basic knowledge of optics and the physics of light, and how sensors and platforms can measure this data for the purposes of application in science and industry. Course materials will focus heavily on agriculture and related industries, equipping students with the skills to use new technology to address timeless issues in agronomy and farm management.
