Catalog description

Presents an introduction to teaching including teaching as a profession, major educational philosophies, social reform, trends and issues in education, curriculum and instruction. Requires a minimum of 15 clock hours of field observation in an approved educational setting. Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours).
