Catalog description
This class introduces essential web application development. With the foundations in HTML and CSS built, more advanced techniques will be used to create web applications. Techniques include working with PHP, CSS frameworks, and JavaScript. Design aspects like mobile-friendly design and user experience design will also be covered.

Students must attend a combination of face-to-face meetings on campus as listed on the course schedule and regularly participate in online instructional activities but not at designated, specific times. The course syllabus and instructional materials are provided online. Exams may be proctored during the scheduled class meeting times or using remote proctoring software online. A computer, high-speed internet, web camera and microphone are needed for Hybrid courses. Students who do not have access to this technology may use the computer labs available on campus.
