Paramedic Cardiology

Catalog description
Covers the anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, assessment, and management of cardiac patients in the prehospital setting. Includes ECG interpretation, rhythm recognition, pharmacology applications, defibrillation, pacing, and advanced airway integration. Students participate in the AHA ACLS provider course and demonstrate competence through written, practical, and scenario-based evaluations.
