Statistical Techniques

Catalog description

CoReq: Math 110 or Math 115 (or prior completion of either) To understand statistical procedures utilized for the behavioral and so- cial sciences. This includes: examining frequency distributions, graphic methods, central tendency and variability, correlation and regression, inferential statistics, non-parametric statistics, and tests of significance. Explores uses and abuses of statistics, as well as enhancing critical reasoning ability of statistical procedures. (3 lec hrs., 2 lec/lab hrs.)
