Catalog description

An intermediate course with emphasis on the creative skills of conversa- tion—adding some reading and writing of the language—for persons in business or occupations dealing with Japanese clientele. Learning Skills LSK 30—College Study Skills (3) Designed to give students an opportunity to learn and practice funda- mental learning skills necessary for success in college. This course will build a strong foundation of study skills, including reading skills, memory strategies, listening skills, writing, note taking, and speaking skills, as well as time management and goal setting.
