A mahi‘ai practitioner course in Hawai‘i cultivation with an emphasis on sustainability. Will engage the learner in harvesting kalo and related staple foods and preparing māla‘ai (dryland) and lo‘i (wetland) patches for replanting. HwSt 150—Lawai‘a I: K ū‘ula Kai (3) A lawai‘a practitioner course in Hawai‘i ocean-life resource knowledge. Course will engage the learner in sustainable fishing practices of Hawai‘i.
