An introduction to the fundamentals of the craft of dramatic writing. Elements of plot construction and character development are emphasized through writing exercises, superior models of drama, and drafting and revision of an original script for stage or screen. Attending an out-of-class live drama performance and viewing an original screenplay may be required. Formerly THA-52.
