Catalog description
Provides the student with a basic definition of theatre, its historical foundations, genres, and current production practices leading to an appreciation of theatre. Students will be required to attend theatre performances for education and edification. Introduction to Theatre is required of all theatre arts majors. Formerly THA-1. Not open to students who have completed THA-1 with a grade of "C" or better. [CSU; UC; CSU-GE, AREA C1; IGETC, AREA 3] [C-ID THTR 111]
