Focuses on pharmacological principles related to respiratory care. Medications pertinent to cardiopulmonary function including therapeutic gases and inhaled medications are reviewed. Drug routes, adverse reactions, and responsibilities of administration are discussed. Specific delivery devices using oxygen and aerosol therapy are emphasized.
