An introduction to the health inequities in the United States resulting from unequal living conditions. Socioeconomic status, education, race, and gender as topics of health inequality as they shape the development of health policy will be covered. Students will research current policy proposals to reduce health inequities and learn skills to promote health and social justice advocacy.
