Provides an overview of essential principles and technologies in cloud computing. Students will explore various service and deployment models, examine cloud infrastructure components, and analyze factors involved in transitioning to cloud-based environments. Practical experience will be gained through the use of platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, with emphasis on core services including compute, storage, networking, and databases. The course also addresses important topics such as cloud security, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization. Prepares students for the Cloud Infrastructure and Services Associate (EMCCIS) Certification and the CompTIA Cloud+.
