Examination of business information systems and their role in business. Focus on business information systems, database management systems, networking, e-commerce, ethics and security, information processing cycle, and associated hardware and software. Skill development in the use of business application software and the use of technology tools for research. Application of these concepts and methods through hands-on projects developing computer-based solutions to business problems.
