Catalog description
A comprehensive survey of modern astronomy with an emphasis on the scientific method and the interpretation of astronomical data in discovering the nature of the solar system and the universe. Planetarium demonstrations are included. Suitable for students from all majors and acceptable for physical science credit at any state college or university. Lab requirement can be satisfied when combined with AST lL. [CSU; UC; CSU GE, AREA B1; IGETC, AREA 5]
