Catalog description

Course covers theory of brake systems, and provides hands-on experience in the service and repair of conventional ABS brake systems. Automotive repair exercises develop skills with equipment commonly used in servicing automotive brake systems. Students will learn to identify and interpret brake system concerns; determine necessary repair action; research applicable vehicle and service information, such as brake system operation, vehicle service history, service precautions, and technical service bulletins. Formerly AUT-71. Not open to students who have completed AUT-71 with a grade of "C" or better. [CSU]
