Field Studies: Tropical Ecosystems

Catalog description

This course introduces the student to a broad range of subject areas in matters associated with tropical ecosystems. During the week-long field trip, the ecologically-rich area is visited and studied. Historic and economically important sites are also visited. Research methodologies are introduced to the student and participation leads to a better understanding of the environment. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required in order to preregister for this course.
