This course provides the foundation for a study of various current health issues. The student investigates a topic related to personal, community or environmental health to conduct research, formulate an opinion of the topic, discuss relevant facts, and write about the topic. The projects in this class focus on the development of competence in both oral and written communication and information literacy.
