Catalog description

This course investigates the historical, geological, physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of the ocean environment. The basic language of marine science, and its underlying principles, are explored. The student pursues an understanding of the underwater history of the planet and the importance of the sciences, including the scientific method of research. Cross-listed with ENVS 104 .
