This course provides a broad introduction to machine learning, statistical pattern recognition, and deep learning. The student gains practical knowledge and skills of machine learning algorithms by tackling real-world problems via programming projects. The lectures will cover linear models, kernel machines, mixture models, neural networks, and deep learning.
