Catalog description

In the laboratory portion of this course, the student will collect, isolate, and characterize microbes from food, water, and soil samples as well as learn techniques to grow anaerobic bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa. Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory per week.
