Catalog description

This course builds upon the principles learned in Microbiology, further developing the concepts of how microbes can be beneficial and detrimental to human society. Topics include clinical microbiology, microbiomes, development of antibiotic resistance, geomicrobiology, astromicrobiology, and environmental microbiology. Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory per week.
