This course introduces students to the process of evaluating and optimizing the network of distribution centers in supply chain logistics. Students study the role of supply chain distribution center through-put costs, handling costs, and transportation logistics in the global supply chain. Topics covered include supply chain distribution center performance measurement, transportation optimization, global logistics, and financial supply chain management.
