Catalog description

This course is designed to develop the basic reading and writing skills needed for ENG 101 : English Composition. ENG 020 concentrates on literal and critical reading skills, paragraph organization and development, with some emphasis on vocabulary and grammar. Students will enroll in ENG 101 at the same time as ENG 020 . This course carries institutional credit only, which means that the credits are not calculated in the number of hours earned toward graduation. However, they do count toward full-time student status and for financial aid requirements. ENG 020 may not be used to meet graduation requirements. Course fee.
