A study of the fundamental concepts of motor development, motor learning, and motor performance. Topics include the developmental sequence of fundamental movement patterns/skill acquisition and factors that may influence such development, information processing, motor program development, motor abilities, importance of feedback for skill development, principles of motor skill learning, and their application to teacher/learner scenarios.
