Catalog description

Develops pre-service elementary teachers’ understanding of the content, processes, pedagogy, and differentiated instruction needed for teaching mathematics to students with math deficits. Emphasizes the need for, and the framework of, a balanced math program. Students develop mathematical units of instruction demonstrating the components of the balanced math philosophy.
