Emphasizes distinguishing characteristics and methods of identifying flora and fauna with an emphasis on local forms. Includes techniques of collecting, cataloging, and preserving for museum or study collections. One three-hour combined lecture and laboratory. Lab fee. Prerequisites: BIO 105, or BIO 234 and 244, or consent of instructor.
