Suggested for majors emphasizing applied mathematics or mathematical physics. Fulfills quantitative literacy requirement (1998). Recommended: MATH 212 Discrete Math or MATH 231 Foundations of Mathematical Proof and CTIS 210 Introduction to Computer Programming.
