Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the interdisciplinary field of Global Studies, including the history, causes, and evolution of globalization, as well as the role of geography in the processes of globalization. The economic, political, social/cultural, and environmental/ecological dimensions of globalization will be explored and used to interpret real-time global current events. (CSU/UC) (AA/AS-4, CSU-D, IGETC-4, Cal-GETC-4)
