Intermediate Badminton

Catalog description

This is a continuation of ES 060A with an emphasis on instructing the intermediate skills levels of badminton. Instructional focus includes the short and low serve, high and deep serve, drop shots, and the smash. Instruction will develop an intermediate level of strategies and rules used in both singles and doubles play. Additionally, the course will address the influence of nutrition, health concerns, injury prevention, and strategies for lifelong health and wellness. (CSU/UC) (AA/AS-7B)
